IQAS conducted "Transition Workshop on ISO 15189:2022 " on 16th March 2024.

 

IQAS Faculties for the Workshop were:

 

Dr. C. V. Anand:  Academic Director, Foundation for Quality (India); Technical Assessor in Clinical Biochemistry; Lead Assessor for various Accreditation Bodies (AB) having assessed more than 300 medical testing laboratories in India; Member of Accreditation Committees of ABs; Conducted multiple trainings on ISO 15189

 

Dr. Usha Anand: Senior Consultant Tenet Medical Diagnostics, Bengaluru; Faculty: Foundation for Quality India- Training medical laboratory personnel in ‘Quality Management Systems’ as per ISO 15189 the International Standard for medical Laboratories; 

 

The workshop provided a comprehensive overview of the key changes and updates introduced in the latest version of ISO 15189:2022, focusing on its significance in enhancing the quality and competence of medical laboratories. Through interactive sessions, insightful discussions, and practical examples, participants gained a deeper understanding of the transition requirements and how to effectively implement them during assessments.
