On 7th December 2024, IQAS conducted a training program titled "Uncertainty Estimation in Mass/Volume Calibration: Theory and Hands-on Practice," designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills for uncertainty estimation in mass and volume calibration.

Faculty Expert: Dr. Sujit Kumar Sinha
Ph.D. (Physics), Managing Director of NIIRT Calibration & Testing Private Ltd., Director of NIITECH Instruments, and former Scientist-in-Charge at NRTC, Parwanoo (H.P.). Dr. Sinha is an accomplished physicist and calibration expert.

Program Highlights:
The training offered a comprehensive blend of theory and practical application, focusing on:

  • Fundamental principles of uncertainty estimation in mass and volume calibration.

  • Practical application of uncertainty analysis using Excel for accurate calculations.

  • Real-world techniques to enhance precision and reliability in calibration processes.

Participants engaged in interactive sessions and hands-on exercises, gaining the expertise to perform accurate uncertainty assessments and improve the quality of their calibration practices.
